When booking with the World Outside please sure that you have read the follwong information and agree to the following terms and conditions
Due to the time of year these sessions could be cancelled at very short notice. Please ensure that you have added ticket source to your mailing list as we use them to contact you via email in the event of a cancellation.
Please check your emails and spam boxes for emails from ticket source with regard to this event!
All children should be accompanied by a responsible adult from their own family bubble
Strictly only 1 adult for upto 3 children, this is to keep the numbers on site to an absolute minimum. If you require extra support, please book an extra adult on, via the booking system
Please do not book on to these sessions if you or anyone in your family group is shielding, is in a vulnerable category or is isolating due to the NHS Track and Trace
Do not attend the session if you or anyone in your household is feeling unwell on the day of the session
We will not be providing drinks, please bring drinks in a refillable bottle. We can top up bottles with water if you require.
Toilets and Washrooms, are based at the main arboretum visitors centre. Please use these before attending the session, following the one way system and observing social distancing.
At the forest school site, hand washing will be in the form of a tippy tap, we do not have running water onsite. Please feel free to bring hand gel. Please avoid antibacterial wipes, if at all possible, due to their environmental impact. Hand drying will be in the form of paper towels. To further help the environment please bring a towel from home to reduce the waste on site
Please observe social distancing between the family groups whilst on the site
Sadly there are no refunds for sessions missed due to Covid symptoms, if the sessions go ahead as planned
A refund will be give if the leader has to self isolate due to Covid symptoms or Track and Trace. This cancellation could happen at very short notice and we apologises for any inconvenience caused in this event.
Refunds will be given should another lockdown occur and the sessions are cancelled
When booking you agree to the following:
As the parent/guardian of the participants , I agree to my child/ren taking part in the activities. I know of no reason medical or otherwise why they should not participate and that my child is fit to undertake the activities.
I will ensure that the forest school leader is aware of any reasons medical or otherwise (if not stated in the following questionnaire) regarding my child or the accompanying adult that may affect their participation or medical treatment prior to the start of each session.
I accept that the activities contain hazards that may result in injury, and I accept the risks involved. I shall be responsible for the actions and involvement of my child and any adult accompanying them following the initial safety briefing.
I consent to the participants receiving emergency treatment if necessary during forest school sessions. I therefore authorize The World Outside Staff to sign on our behalf any written form of consent required by the hospital authorities on the understanding that every effort will be made by the World Outside Staff to contact the emergency contacts provided.
I understand that even though the activities are well managed and risk assessed, they can still carry a degree of risk and potential danger.
I shall be responsible for the actions and involvement of my child and any adult accompanying them following the initial safety briefing.
We meet in front of the Visitors Centre, unless otherwise stated. (Post code DY11 5TB) Please ensure that you arrive 10 minutes before start of the session as we will be heading to the forest school area promptly to ensure that we have adequate time to enjoy the activities planned.
Please ensure that anyone attending forest school with your child is aware of the need for layers of warm activity clothes, to include trousers, a long sleeved top and sturdy shoes.
Also bring waterproofs and a change of clothes, wellies if wet.
No skirts, open toes shoes/sandals, flip flops or crocs or flammable clothing. Anyone with unsuitable clothing or foot wear or clothing may be excluded from taking part.
Please bring a hat and gloves in winter/hat and sun protection cream in summer. A change of clothes for the way home is recommended.
Please be aware that if the forest school leader is not satisfied that either the participant or accompanying adult is appropriately dressed or meets the above terms and conditions, they will refuse participation and no refund will be given
Once tickets are confirmed they cannot be exchanged or refunded (unless of course the event is cancelled, in the event that a date is cancelled due to weather or anything beyond the control of the World Outside and the forest school leader you will then be given a discount code to book another session free of charge on the next terms under-fives sessions or a school holiday session)

An event will only be cancelled in the event of extreme weather conditions, lack of take up or events beyond our control. In the event that a decision is made to cancel an activity all participants and parents/guardians will be informed at the earliest opportunity and payment will be refunded.
If refunds are made via ticket source for any reason this will be minus a £1 administration fee.
We will start promptly. So please meet 5 - 10 minutes before the start of the session front of the Visitors Centre at Bodenham Arboretum DY11 5TB.
Bring a small mug or cup so that your small person can have some hot chocolate.
Please ensure that everyone is dressed appropriately in accordance with the terms and conditions.

Please ensure that all children attending who are walking ie 18 months and older have a ticket!
